Instruments
If you are wanting to buy an instrument for your student, it would be best to talk with me or another music professional before making a purchase. Instruments in Amazon aren't always the best kinds. Brands like Glory, Mendini, Eastrock, and others are very affordable, but the quality may be lacking. Those instruments will work, but they might not last - it all depends on how well the students takes care of it. They are much easier to damage due to cheaper parts. Used instruments are a great option and sometimes I have connections with local offers. If you are looking to buy a new instrument, it's usually best to go through a music-centered company. I use Music & Arts and Sweetwater for many of the instruments we buy for the school.
